In a unexpected collaboration that defies usual predictions, the game developer has unveiled an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including free bonus story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Questline Revealed
According to the official release, "A strange confrontation draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where rumors of forbidden rituals and terrifying changes echo through the darkness." The plot presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a secret group.
The questline focuses on "peculiar trials and a terrifying foe" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Transformations
The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview ends with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the hostage, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
